Welcome
The Asian Community Resource Coalition of Las Vegas (ACRCofLV) was founded in February 2023 to assist starting nonprofits in building a sustainable model for organizations to understand the issues and challenges they can expect to face. We will bring experts to educate on key strategies to equip organizations better to build long-lasting, sustainable nonprofits and community organizations.
Our Commitment
The Asian Community Resource Coalition of Las Vegas (ACRCofLV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is dedicated to supporting and empowering growing non-profits and community agencies within the AAPI community in Southern Nevada by providing comprehensive support and resources to guide organizations toward self-sufficiency and sustainability.
The establishment of the Asian Community Resource Coalition was a strategic move by the Asian Community Resource Center (ACRC) to address community needs, strengthen resources, increase visibility, and ensure the sustainability of vital initiatives through collaboration, access to capacity-building support, and collective advocacy with community partners to address the needs of the Asian & Pacific Islander communities in Southern Nevada.
This coalition unites various organizations and stakeholders, creating a platform for sharing resources, knowledge, and expertise. By working together, the coalition optimizes the use of limited resources, avoids duplication of efforts, and encourages innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the Asian & Pacific Islander communities.
A key benefit of forming this coalition is enhanced capacity building. Through the coalition, partners access training and technical assistance, which is crucial for improving member organizations' operational efficiency and effectiveness. Workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions enhance their capabilities in program development, outreach, and service delivery, ensuring that the services are of the highest quality.
Moreover, the coalition provides access to specialized expertise that small non-profits often need to improve, such as skills in grant writing, fundraising, and strategic planning. By connecting to resources and offering capacity-building support, the coalition helps its members develop these essential skills, significantly increasing their capacity to secure funding and create sustainable programs.
Another vital aspect of the coalition is its potential to increase visibility and advocacy. A unified coalition, with its collective strength, amplifies the voices of non-profit organizations, significantly increasing their influence in the community. This united front advocates for policy changes and funding allocations that benefit the Asian & Pacific Islander communities, making it easier for individual organizations to access necessary resources and support.
Finally, the coalition ensures sustainability and long-term impact. By aligning on shared goals and collective actions, the coalition provides ongoing support, a critical need for non-profit’s struggling with limited financial resources. It helps develop strategies for sustainable funding and build organizational resilience, ensuring that the programs and initiatives have a lasting impact on the community.
